LIM College Reveals Designer Lineup for 80th Annual Student-produced Fashion Show

LIM College's 80th Annual Fashion Show: A Celebration of Timeless Threads
A Runway Spectacle of Established and Emerging Talent
Get ready for a dazzling display of fashion innovation as LIM College hosts its 80th annual student-produced fashion show on April 4th at The Glasshouse in New York City. This year's theme, "Timeless Threads," explores the cyclical nature of style, celebrating classic silhouettes, recurring trends, and the importance of sustainability.
This isn't just a show; it's a real-world learning experience. LIM College students are involved in every aspect of the production, from selecting the featured designers to managing the marketing and event planning. This immersive experience provides invaluable connections with industry professionals, paving the way for their future careers.
A Star-Studded Lineup of Designers
Prepare to be wowed by an impressive roster of designers, including Nicole Miller, the icon who popularized the little black dress, and Mondo Guerra, known for his vibrant work on "Project Runway All Stars" and "RuPaul's Drag Race." Ten archival looks from Nicole Miller, the show's presenting sponsor and student mentor, will close the show with a touch of classic glamour.
The runway will also feature the gender-free designs of Rinat Brodach, the sustainable creations of Chris Mena, the avant-garde metalwork of Natalia Fedner, and the empowering suits of LaTouché, known for dressing star athletes.
More Than Just a Fashion Show
Beyond the established names, the show will highlight emerging talent, including pieces sourced from curated fashion rental house Janet Mandell and designs by LIM College students themselves, incorporating Pantone's 2025 Color of the Year, Mocha Mousse.
Pantone isn't just providing color inspiration; they're also sponsoring two student awards: "Mastery of Color," recognizing innovative use of color in design, and "Artistry in Color," celebrating the teams who bring a designer's vision to life.
Supporting the Next Generation of Fashion Leaders
The LIM Fashion Education Foundation will award two $1,500 scholarships to deserving students, furthering their education and empowering them to become industry leaders. The show also partners with the Verma Foundation for the second year, providing cap wigs to women experiencing hair loss due to chemotherapy. A cancer survivor assisted by the Verma Foundation will grace the runway, adding a powerful message of hope and resilience.
